Instructional Docs
I have experience creating instructional documents that explain how to perform specific tasks on different platforms (e.g., how to add a confirmation code for online data collection). The documents I have created are largely for Qualtrics and MTurk. Below are a few examples of the instructional documents that I have created.
The following document explains how to add a customizable “withdraw” button into the footer of a Qualtrics survey.
The next document explains how to insert a video into Qualtrics, while also having it autoplay and then automatically advance after the video is over. To prevent participants from clicking the video and pausing it, the document also explains how to create an invisible overlay.
Most of my online data collection has been done using MTurk. For participants to receive payment, they have to enter a completion code on the MTurk website. The following document explains how to generate randomized completion codes on Qualtrics.
I also have experience making info-graphics to help communicate results to non-academic audiences. The examples below are from a study on motivations for being involved in dance.
